WallBeam is a innovative structural support beam that gives more than 120minutes of vertical and horizontal fire stopping and provides the perfect product for supporting riser partition walls. The unique design incorporates the AlphaRiser channel profile and therefore enables full compatibility with the GRP support joists of lateral accommodation of additional WallBeams.

Application:
The Comtec WallBeam is a multi-functional structural element designed to support fire-resisting partition walls, retain walls from below, and incorporate deflection head details. It can be used as part of an AlphaRiser unit or as a standalone component fixed directly to walls or floors.

Construction Features:

• Steel-faced sides incorporating AlphaRiser channels for joist and service support.
• Lightweight concrete core with internal steel links and rebar reinforcement.
• Supports a uniformly distributed load of 5kN per linear metre.
• Compatible with AlphaRiser CIR and FreeBeam systems via end channel fixings.

Fire Performance:

• Independently tested at Warringtonfire to BS EN 1366-3:2021.
• Achieved 120 minutes integrity and insulation rating.

System Integration:

• Can be used to support or retain fire-rated walls.
• Provides structural and fire-rated continuity within AlphaRiser assemblies.
• Allows joist integration and fixing of services into the AlphaRiser channels.
