AlphaRiser FR – Fire-Rated Riser Support System
Fire Compliance:
Designed for buildings requiring floor-to-floor compartmentation. Fully tested to BS EN 1366-3:2021, achieving 240 minutes fire resistance (integrity & insulation) – double the standard requirement.
Construction Safety:
Joist end brackets allow initial grating installation at Structural Slab Level (SSL), eliminating trip hazards. Grating is later lowered by 100mm once services are complete.
Deck Surface:
Uses solid top GRP grating for a closed surface. Edges and service gaps are sealed with fireproof caulking, and a fireproofing compound is poured into the slab recess.
Sacrificial Components:
GRP grating and supports are sacrificial in fire events. Structural support is maintained by the slab, not the fire compound.
Firestopping Integration:
Compatible with Quelfire QF2 compound and other UL-certified firestopping products for a complete solution.
Documentation:
Warringtonfire test report and UL certification available on request.
